Dr. Sheray (Ward) Chin

Dr. Sheray (Ward) Chin is a Consultant in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of the West Indies and a Lecturer at the University of the West Indies. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where she did both her undergraduate and postgraduate training, attaining the MBBS degree (with Honours) and the DM post-graduate degree in Internal Medicine. She was awarded the “Raymond Chang Caribbean Fellowship in Subspecialty Internal Medicine Award” in 2006, and completed sub-specialty training in Medical Oncology at the University of Toronto in 2008.

Dr. Chin is a Lecturer in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at the University of the West Indies, and has recently introduced post-graduate training in Medical Oncology at the University. She specializes in the management of solid tumours, and has several clinical and research interests, including optimizing care for locally advanced breast cancer and reducing cancer health disparities.
